Description/Job Summary

NASC is seeking a Site Lead Aerostat / RAID Tower Field Service Representative to deloy to Iraq to support Persistent Surveillance Systems, including Aerostats ( 22M, 17M, TIF25) and RAID tower surveillance systems. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and fix the above systems, to include support equipment such as generators, forklifts, and high-reach vehicles. Selected candidates shall serve at the Site Lead for a specialized Field Service Representative (FSR) team deployed OCONUS assisting foreign military components in conjunction with U.S. Department of Defense. Site Lead FSRs will have knowledge or related expertise in supporting operations, maintenance, and training as well as knowledge and ability to perform a wide variety of field services such as surveys, equipment installs and more.  They will also have responsibility for collection and tracking operational and maintenance data.

Responsibilities/Duties

Selected candidates must be knowledgeable on the system to be able to troubleshoot and fix the systems by assisting remotely via internet or phone. Candidates must be able to train other personnel in a formalized setting, the operations and maintenance of the system. CRC Deployment Qualification/ Currency within 12 months of application highly desired

Required Qualifications

  • Position requires an active Secret US Security Clearance
  • Completion of DOD or industry equivalent  instructor course such as Army Basic Instructor Course, Small Group Instructor Course, Basic Instructor Course, Air Force Basic Instructor Course, or a civilian equivalent
  • 12 months experience supporting operations and maintenance including collection and tracking maintenance data.
  • Five years of hands-on experience supporting military operations
  • Three years of operations or maintenance with any ISR Platform including aerostat, tower, and UAV platforms.
  • Experience and ability to assist in site survey analysis
  • Experience providing expertise in the familiarization on aerostats systems.
  • Understanding of spreadsheets, schematics, and detailed diagrams
  • Ability to train others including foreign military on the RAID/ Aerostat family of systems.
  • Experience conducting troubleshooting and maintenance for the surveillance systems
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and a practical understanding of big-data analytic techniques for structured and unstructured data
  • Selected candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and specifically be comfortable and able to convey ideas to Program Managers.
  • This is a one year assignment working 12 hours per day 7 days per week. There will be a one month vacation available after the first 6 months of work completed and scheduled to deconflict other vacation requests.  FSRs might have the opportunity to rotate to a CONUS location for continued employment following the one year deployed contract based on deployed requirements.

  • Support engineers with integration and testing in the SIL.
