Description/Job Summary

NASC is seeking an Aerostat / RAID Tower Logistics Representative to deploy to Iraq to support Persistent Surveillance Systems, including Aerostats ( 22M, 17M, TIF25) and RAID tower surveillance systems. The successful candidate will support country logistics, to include support equipment such as generators, forklifts, and high-reach vehicles. Selected candidates shall serve as the logistics representative as part of a specialized Field Service Representative (FSR) team deployed OCONUS assisting foreign military components in conjunction with U.S. Department of Defense. The logistics representative will have knowledge and related expertise processing equipment transportation requests, material requisitions, tracking inventory, coordinating multi-mode transportation, hazmat shipments, and fulfilling helium and bulk fuel requirements for aerostat and raid tower systems.  This position is contingent upon NASC receiving contract award.

Responsibilities/Duties

Selected candidates will have knowledge and related expertise processing equipment transportation requests, material requisitions, tracking inventory, coordinating multi-mode transportation, hazmat shipments, and fulfilling helium and bulk fuel requirements for aerostat and raid tower systems. CRC Deployment Qualification/ Currency within 12 months of application highly desired

Required Qualifications

  • Position requires an active US Security Clearance
  • Five years of hands-on experience supporting military logistics
  • Experience and proficiency in utilizing logistics procedures, processes and regulations
  • Analyze aerostat helium use data and forecasting requirements
  • Coordinate system transportation in and out of areas of operations
  • Experience monitoring helium and coordinating helium transportation
  • Experience with logistics requirements in OCONUS environments
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and a practical understanding of big-data analytic techniques for structured and unstructured data
  • Selected candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and specifically be comfortable and able to convey ideas.
  • This is a one year assignment working 12 hours per day 7 days per week. There will be a one month vacation available after the first 6 months of work completed and scheduled to deconflict other vacation requests.  FSRs might have the opportunity to rotate to a CONUS location for continued employment following the one year deployed contract based on deployed requirements.
