Description/Job Summary

Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation has an ongoing requirement for experienced Group 3 – Group 5 Air Vehicle Pilots (AVPs). Current opportunities are available both CONUS and for future OCONUS deployments. Duties include the safe operation and maintenance of positive control of Unmanned Air Vehicles in all phases of ground and flight operations, strict adherence to air traffic control clearances and established aircraft operating procedures and initiating appropriate action during all unforeseen occurrences.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Manage all ground and flight operations of deployed Unmanned Aircraft System during assigned mission operations
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of Ground Control Station or NASC Mobile Operations Center (MOC) and antennas
  • Operate ground support equipment
  • Perform preflight and post-flight inspections
  • Participate in all phases of launch and recovery sequences
  • Assist in performing aircraft technician tasks including scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and integration of new aircraft systems and/or payloads
  • Assist in the drafting/editing of aircraft operations and maintenance manuals, aircraft operations related reports and technical briefs
  • Support shop duties when not on travel including UAS Production activities
  • Travel to area of operation will be required for this position

Required Qualifications

  • Group 3-5 Air Vehicle Pilot experience required. Prior TigerShark XP or RQ23A TigerShark Preferred.
  • Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Piccolo Command Center knowledge preferred
  • RC aircraft pilot experience desired
  • Technical/Mechanical experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • FAA Private Pilot License
